Opened as a compounding operation in 1987, Houston was our first plant and we are still in the same location we started the company in 1987. We started this facility with a 6" single screw and a 92mm twin screw extruder. In the beginning we were mostly pelletizing polyolefins for major resin manufactures. This business model did not last long before we started to get into actual compounding of filled polyolefins. This lead to a natural progression of more sophisticated compounding techniques and products. By 1997, we had 5 W&P twin screw extruders and a capacity of over 50 million pounds per year in over 100,000 square feet of warehouse and production area. This plant is 100% toll compounding.

Currently we do everything from basic mineral filled materials to specialized reactive compounding in Houston. We have the experience and technology to meet your compounding needs.
